Homeschool Music Classes that Inspire — Now Enrolling at Blaze Christian Academy
Blaze at First Montgomery is now enrolling for Fall 2025 music classes that grow students in both skill and faith. Whether your child dreams of playing violin, singing in a dynamic choir, or understanding the rich patterns of music and praise, Blaze has something just right for your family.
We’re excited to offer:
🎻 Intro to Orchestra (Grades 3–12)
Students will explore the world of string instruments in an environment designed to build confidence and skill. Our beginner-friendly approach includes ensemble playing, foundational music reading, and exposure to worship-centered repertoire. Instruments include violin, viola, cello, and bass — no experience needed!
Groups for Grades 3-5

6 & up.
🎤 Blaze Praise Choirs (Grades 3–12)
Our elementary and upper-level homeschool choirs have become a favorite among students. With uplifting music, thoughtful instruction, and opportunities to find their voices both musically and spiritually, our students learn about harmony, melody, lyrical phrasing, and expression, all while creating lasting friendships and connecting to praise the Lord. Choir isn’t just a class — one student told us, "Choir is the highlight of her week."
🎼 Patterns of Praise- Music Theory
(Grades 6-12)
More than an intro to theory, this class helps students uncover the beauty and structure behind the music they love. Through biblical themes and hands-on learning, Patterns of Praise helps students “see” worship in music, language, and beauty. It’s faith-filled, foundational, and unforgettable.
Students will explore melody, harmony, and chord structure as tools for creative and meaningful expression. From songwriting to arrangement, we’ll connect musical technique with spiritual insight — discovering how musical patterns echo the design and order of our Creator. Whether your student plays an instrument or just loves worship music, this class offers both the “how” and the “why” of music through a lens of purpose and praise.
