Our Worship Arts Track blends Christ-centered music instruction with hands-on leadership training, helping students grow in both musical excellence and spiritual maturity. Whether they’re just starting out or stepping into worship leadership, we’re here to nurture their calling.

Blaze Praise Youth Choir (Grades 6-12)
​
Join Blaze Praise Youth Choir and embark on an exciting musical journey designed specifically for passionate young voices in grades 6 through 12. Meeting once a week from August to May, this choir is perfect for those who love to sing, seek camaraderie, and have a heart for worship. Blaze Praise explores a rich repertoire, from vibrant contemporary anthems to heartfelt gospel songs, all while fostering a community where friendships and faith grow through song.
No prior experience is needed—everyone is welcome! Participants will learn essential skills such as singing posture, vocal technique, understanding vocal ranges, melody, harmony, and stage presence. A $25 supply fee is required. Led by Laina Standard, whose calling and passion for worship inspire young hearts to authentically worship Christ, Blaze Praise Youth Choir is where your voice can truly make a joyful noise. Rehearse, perform, and lead others by example as you worship through song, becoming part of a community where faith finds its voice through music.
Blaze Children's Choir (Grades 2-5)

Welcome to Blaze Children's Choir, where young singers in grades 2 through 5 can discover their musical talents and authentically worship Christ. Meeting once a week from August to May, this choir offers a nurturing and joy-filled environment for children to explore their love for music and worship.
Under the guidance of Laina Standard, whose passion for worship and dedication to inspiring young hearts are at the core of this choir, children will learn the basics of singing and performing while making new friends and growing in their faith. Blaze Children's Choir is designed to inspire and develop young hearts and voices, laying a strong foundation for their future musical endeavors. This choir fosters a Christian worship community where children can grow spiritually while celebrating their love for music. Whether your child is just starting out or already loves to sing, Blaze Children's Choir is the perfect place to begin their musical journey. Join us and let your child's voice be part of a harmonious celebration of faith and friendship!


🎶 Patterns of Praise — Music Theory for Worship
Grades: 7th–12th
This faith-focused class explores music theory through the lens of God’s divine design, revealing how musical structure reflects the order, beauty, and creativity of our Creator.
Students will learn to identify scales, chords, rhythm, and harmony using Scripture-inspired examples while developing listening skills, notation fluency, and a strong music vocabulary. We’ll connect patterns in music—like 3s, 7s, and 12s—to Biblical themes and discover how worldview and culture shape musical expression.
Along the way, students will explore songwriting, lyric writing, and practical arrangement techniques for worship music. They’ll also gain insight into how worship leadership differs from secular performance.
This is more than a music class—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of worship musicians, songwriters, and Kingdom-minded creatives.

This program provides weekly lessons and monthly rehearsals for students aspiring to enhance their skills as worship leaders and team members. Together, we will focus on both individual and collective music practice with an emphasis on worship.
